WebStand Presentation

WebStand is a French ANR funded project (ANR-05-JC05-53339). It is a joint computer-science and sociology project, involving the following partners :

Its goal is to :

  • Develop a generic architecture, system and methodology to manage web based sociological semi-structured data (XML)
  • Validate using an IT case study (W3C and ISO)

XML development platform

  • aXess, sociological oriented graphical schema creator and XML query interface. Open source. Developped by PRiSM, LRI and LEST.

Use public / public as login and password for the SVN.

Modules

- CV-Crawler, discovery and XML extraction of CV oriented information on internet. Can be used as a stand alone module, or as presented here, within the aXess framework. Open source, uses Exalead.com search engine. Contact exalead.com in order to get a login. Developped by PRiSM.

- XClean, cleaning of XML data. Developped by INRIA GEMO & Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

- ULoad, an efficient XML store based on XAMs. Developped by INRIA GEMO & LRI.
