Research
I am a member of the CIESI team at PRiSM laboratory. The CIESI team is involved in projects related to data integration, component integration and personalization. My current research interests include mediation systems, data integration and component integration, database design and tuning and data mining.
-
I am a member of the APMD project.
This project is devoted to efficient access to information based on user profiles.
-
Previously, my work taked part in the DBA Companion Project.
The DBA Companion project is devoted to the understanding of logical database constraints from which logical database tuning can be achieved. Whereas physical database tuning has received a lot of attention over the last decade, logical database tuning seems to be under-studied.
In this setting, two main data mining issues need to be addressed: the first one is the design of efficient algorithms for functional dependencies and inclusion dependencies inference and the second one is about the interestingness of the discovered knowledge.
